This online toolkit is designed to support everyone looking for creative educational resources to engage students aged 13-16 in the conservation and preservation of European wildlife and natural habitats. It includes lesson plans with ready-to-use resources and is organised around four modules: (1) How do we relate to nature? (2) Explore Europe’s nature. (3) How do we protect nature in Europe? (4) Engaging in nature protection. In addition, students learn about the legal framework for nature conservation in Europe and how the European Commission and the EU member states work to protect nature in the frame of the EU Nature Directives and the Natura 2000 network of protected areas.
