Want to make a difference in the fight against climate change? The European Climate Pact invites schools and universities across Europe to join Pact2School and inspire young people to turn their climate ideas into action.
The European Climate Pact is an initiative that brings people, communities and organisations together to tackle climate change and build a more resilient Europe. Through Pact2School, schools and universities can team up with Climate Pact Ambassadors and Partners to explore sustainability, develop creative solutions and make a real difference in their communities.
What’s in it for you? Discover new ideas for climate action, connect with people who share your passion for sustainability and showcase your activities through European Climate Pact communication channels. There is even the chance to receive up to €1,000 in funding to bring a student-led climate project to life.
To take part, schools and universities need to partner with a Climate Pact Ambassador or Partner:
Use the Interactive Pact Map OR engagement

Need inspiration? Explore practical resources, activity ideas and winning projects from the first Pact2School round.
Ready to take action? Apply by 15 January 2027 at 12:00 CET and make a real difference for the climate in your school and community!

Are you ready to step up and act on climate change? Or do you know someone who might be interested?
From 1 October to 31 October, a call for new European Climate Pact Ambassadors is open! Applications are assessed on a rolling basis, so early applications (in any EU language) are welcome.
