The European Commission is looking for 30 young people to join Commissioner Glenn Micallef in Lyon from 15–17 July 2026 for a Youth Policy Dialogue on the next EU Youth Strategy.

This is your chance to speak directly with EU decision-makers about the issues that matter most to young people today — from making participation more inclusive to tackling the biggest challenges facing your generation and helping shape solutions that really work.

No experience in politics or policy is needed — just your ideas, experiences and motivation to take part.

Participants will also enjoy organised activities to discover the city of Lyon, while meeting other young people from across Europe.

The Commission will cover travel costs, accommodation, meals and local transport.

To apply, complete the EU Survey application and submit a short written response (maximum 200 words). Applicants must:

  • be aged 18–30
  • live in geographical Europe
  • have a good command of English
  • be available from 15–17 July 2026

Applications close on 13 May 2026 at 23:59 CET.

Don’t miss your chance to have a seat at the table — Europe wants to hear your voice!
