The EU wants to listen and respect children’s views in terms of important decision making and Europe’s future. That’s the idea behind the EU’s Children’s Participation Platform which seeks to give them a voice. It’s also the aim of the EU’s Strategy on Children’s Rights, which was also written in partnership with children themselves in child friendly language.
