European funding to teach about the European Union: Apply by 3 February 2026!

Society needs active citizens who can shape the world they want to live in. Yet inspiring children and teenagers to engage with politics and European values can be challenging. The Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Actions are specifically designed for teachers and schools to nurture the next generation of active, informed, and EU-savvy citizens.

The current call for projects enables schools from Erasmus+ Programme Countries to apply for funding to teach about the European Union. The call is open to primary, secondary and vocational education and training (VET) schools located in Erasmus+ Programme Countries.

You can either apply as a single school (Learning EU Initiatives) or as a network of at least six schools from three Erasmus+ Programme Countries (Networks for Schools) for a grant of up to EUR 35,000

The application deadline is 3 February 2026, 17:00 (CET)
