To support you in this journey, the European Commission has four new sets of guidelines designed to support you across four key areas in digital education: using artificial intelligence (AI) and data ethically in education, promoting digital literacy and tackling disinformation, making informed choices on digital education content, and teaching high-quality informatics. The guidelines are a flagship initiative of the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) and are designed to support specialist and generalist schoolteachers in navigating the impact and opportunities of the digital transformation of education with confidence. They provide practical guidance, ready-to-use classroom examples, and clear quality criteria, alongside up-to-date definitions of key concepts in digital education.
