As the new school year kicks off, it’s time to gear up for the European Statistics Competition (ESC)! This competition lets teams of secondary school students dive into the world of statistics, search for data, and produce statistical analyses—all while engaging in a friendly competition.

The ESC isn’t just about numbers; it’s about boosting young people’s statistical know-how and having a great time doing it. Eurostat and the National Statistical Institutes are on a mission to make statistics cool and help teachers bring official stats into the classroom.
