The European Union (EU) wants all children and teenagers to have what they need to grow up happy and healthy, and some children need extra help and support.
To help with this, each EU country has a plan, and through the EU Children’s Participation Platform, we want to hear from children on how they think things are working in their countries.
We are asking about access to free education, school-based activities and meals, and other things that children need to thrive, like healthcare and housing.
Results will be used to help check if the EU countries’ plans are working, as part of a review of the European Child Guarantee; and to ensure that the opinions our youngest citizens are considered.
- The online survey in all EU languages is open until 8 December 2025 for all EU children and teens under the age of 18: Survey on poverty and social inclusion
Share this in your schools and networks so that the maximum number of children can have their say!
