The European Commission's new ‘Unlock Your Power! Your energy. Your rights. Your choice.’ campaign explains these rights through practical, real-life examples. It covers topics such as understanding energy bills, finding support when needed, making informed energy choices, and taking part in energy communities.
The campaign aims to help people better understand the opportunities and protections available to them under EU energy rules and to show how these rights can make a difference in everyday life. Through videos, success stories and other online resources, citizens can discover how others are already benefiting from these rights across Europe.
Understanding how energy is used, paid for, and managed is an important life skill. The campaign offers useful starting points for conversations at home and in the classroom, helping young people better understand the role they can play in Europe's energy future.
