Hi young Europeans! Ever heard of the Charlemagne Youth Prize? This award from the European Parliament recognizes young people aged 16-30 with innovative ideas to strengthen democracy and support active participation. Whether you want to organize a cultural festival, launch an online campaign, create a school exchange project or develop an app to promote volunteering, all ideas are welcome!

Why submit your idea?

  • Become a European influencer: Your idea could become an example for millions of young people across Europe and gain European recognition!
  • Funding: Winning projects receive funding to make them a reality.
  • A unique experience: The prize offers you a platform to showcase your project and find new supporters. You'll have the opportunity to meet other passionate young people and build a network of contacts.
  • A springboard: This could be the start of a great adventure! What can you do? If you have an idea for a project that promotes active citizenship, mutual understanding between peoples or democracy, you can enter the competition.
