The event will foster a better understanding of European values such as active citizenship, and participatory democracy.

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will organise YEYS in Brussels on 6 March 2024. Participants will share ideas in English with peers from across the European Union and beyond. They will debate and make recommendations that contribute to the EESC's pre-election activities and shape the EESC's resolution on the European elections.

This is a unique chance for young people to gain a better understanding of how the EU works and to take part in an assembly-style debate in a diverse environment. Close of applications is 31 December. Find out more.
