Teachers and school leaders looking to improve digital education, inclusion and wellbeing can make use of three free online tools developed by the European Commission. The tools are designed to support individuals and schools in improving the quality of their learning environments and strengthening teachers’ professional growth:
- SELFIE for Teachers provides personalised feedback to help teachers improve digital teaching and collaboration. Based on the EU’s Digital Competence Framework for Educators, the tool is designed for early childhood, primary and secondary education, and is available in 30+ languages. To date, over 220,000 teachers have already used SELFIE for Teachers! Will you be next?
- With the sister tool, SELFIE for Schools, teachers, school leaders and students can assess where they stand with learning in the digital age. The tool can help shape the school’s digital education strategy and identify areas for staff professional development.
- Launched during the European Mental Health Week 2025, the self-assessment tool on inclusion and wellbeing is designed for primary and secondary schools. The assessment scans through key areas of wellbeing and inclusion – from school leadership and climate to parental involvement and vulnerable learners. Once completed, schools receive a tailored report with insights and suggested resources for further support.
The three tools are easy-to-use, secure and anonymous, so why not try them out today!
