What matters most to young people in Europe? That's the question at the heart of the second meeting of the President's Youth Advisory Board, held in Brussels on 22 July.
More than 30 young representatives from across the EU, together with youth organisations from candidate and potential candidate countries, met with President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss priorities for the next EU Youth Strategy after 2027.

The President’s Youth Advisory Board was created in 2025 to make sure young people's ideas and experiences are heard at the highest level of EU decision-making. At its first meeting, members shared recommendations on children's and young people's online safety, helping shape the Commission's work in this area.

The Board is one of several ways the European Commission is working with young people to build policies that reflect their priorities and ambitions.
