Would you like to report from Brussels, visit EU institutions and newsrooms, and learn from experienced journalists?
The 10th edition of Youth4Regions, the European Commission’s programme for aspiring journalists aged 18–30, is now open for applications.
Around 40 selected participants will travel to Brussels from 10–16 October 2026 to take part in training on journalism, EU affairs and cohesion policy, while gaining hands-on reporting experience at the European Week of Regions and Cities. Travel, accommodation and meals are covered by the European Commission.
Three outstanding participants will receive the Megalizzi-Niedzielski Prize and the chance to join a two-week reporting mission across several EU countries.

Applications can be submitted in all EU languages. The programme takes place in English.
